Our goal is to be a “one-stop-shop” for all SEM information and resources while providing a place where students and teachers can connect.
The Nucleus is an idea first created by alumna Uma Claire Teelock to centralize all information on SEM updates, clubs and events. This concept has since been adopted by the previous Nucleus team where it was completely rebuilt by Shawn Halimman and Hudson Shields. Now, after their graduation, it is run by Chief Editor Kevin Halimman and Chief Designer Satvik Paduri, who hope to continue adding new features to the website. Our main goal is to be a “one-stop-shop” for all SEM information and resources while being a place for parents, teachers, and students to connect and make posts. As a student and community website, the Nucleus encourages active involvement from teachers and students in order to streamline communication and engagement.
The Nucleus will not replace any current forms of communication at SEM, but rather serve to combine and supplement them. Here, you can find anything such as your google classroom code or DISD schedule to even information and events on SEM clubs.
